Our Maple Pecan Pie is a better version of a classic dessert. Real maple syrup and sugar provide the perfect level of sweetness in our Pecan Pie recipe. This pie is loaded with pecan halves to fill our tender plant based pie crust. An easy and delicious recipe for holiday entertaining.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups + 1 tbs all purpose flour ( divided )
1/2 cup + 3 tbs ( tbs melted ) Country Crock® Plant Butter with Avocado Oil Stick
4 to 6 tbs ice water
1 cup pure maple syrup
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups pecan halves
Directions

1. For the crust: Add 1 1/2 cups flour to medium bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup Country Crock Plant Butter with pastry blender or two knives until coarse crumbs form. Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough forms. Gently knead dough with floured hands and shape into disc. Refrigerate until ready to use.

 

2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll dough on lightly floured surface from center to edges to form 12-inch circle. Press into 9-inch pie plate; set aside.

 

3. For the Pecan Filling: Whisk all ingredients except pecans in medium bowl until thoroughly combined (maple syrup, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, 3 tbs melted Country Crock Plant Butter Avocado Oil Stick, 1 tbs all purpose flour, 1 tsp vanilla extract) . Arrange pecans over bottom of crust.

 

4. Gently pour maple mixture over pecans. Bake 60 minutes or until until filling is set and slightly puffed. Transfer pie to rack and cool completely.
